Artemis House Shelter Makeover Project

The Artemis House Shelter Makeover transformed 3 essential shared spaces within one of Shelter House, Inc.’s Artemis House survivor housing locations to create a more welcoming, dignified, and trauma-informed environment for survivors of domestic violence, their children, and the staff who support them each day. In addition to design upgrades, the project focused on decluttering and implementing organizational solutions to better manage shared resources and in-kind donations, improving day-to-day functionality. The renovated spaces served 48 individuals during the project period—including 34 adults and 14 children—and will continue to support survivors and families in the years to come. This transformation reflects Beyond the Blueprint Foundation’s commitment to intentional design, operational support, and community partnership as tools for lasting healing and stability.
